What this site remembers, what it does not collect, and what happens when you choose to contact RioViisuals.
LAST REVIEWED / AUGUST 2026The short version.
The booking builder prepares your project brief inside your browser. It does not upload the answers to a RioViisuals database. When you select “Open inquiry email,” your email provider opens a message for you to review and send.
The optional Archive Passport saves route progress and opened photo stories in local storage on your own device. It is subtle game state, not a profile about you.
01Information you send
If you email, call, or otherwise contact RioViisuals, the studio receives the information you choose to provide—such as your name, contact details, project brief, attachments, and correspondence—to evaluate, quote, schedule, deliver, and support the project.
02Local Archive Passport
The site may store visited routes, opened photo stories, a return-visit count, and the last visit date in your browser’s local storage. That data stays on the device unless your browser or hosting environment independently handles it. Clear site data to reset the passport.
03How project information is used
Information you send may be used to communicate, prepare estimates and agreements, manage production, invoice, license and deliver work, maintain business records, protect legal rights, and comply with applicable obligations.
04Service providers
Email, invoicing, payment, file delivery, website hosting, and other providers may process information as needed to provide their services. Their own privacy terms apply. RioViisuals does not sell the personal information in project inquiries.
05Retention + security
Business records are kept only as reasonably needed for project, accounting, legal, archival, and relationship purposes. No online system is perfectly secure, so do not send sensitive identity, health, financial, or confidential information through a first-contact inquiry.
06Your choices
You can browse without completing the booking builder, clear local storage, choose what to include in an email, and request correction or deletion of eligible contact information. Some records may need to remain for legal, contractual, or accounting reasons.
07Portfolio + releases
Whether commissioned work may appear in the RioViisuals portfolio is addressed in the signed project agreement and any applicable releases. Confidentiality or embargo needs should be raised before booking.
08Children + changes
This business site is not directed to children. A parent or legal guardian should handle inquiries involving minors. This notice may be updated as the site or studio practices change; the review date above will change with it.
